Join Seaspan as a Cloud Data Administrator in Vancouver, BC, focusing on Azure and Databricks for impactful data operations. Your expertise will drive data governance and pipeline orchestration.
In this on-site position, you will be crucial to our Data Operations team, enhancing our Azure-based data platform. Key responsibilities include setting up pipelines, managing Databricks environments, and supporting data integrations using Azure Data Factory. You will engage with business and technical teams to ensure effective data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor job pipelines and troubleshoot failures
• Administer user access and security in Databricks
• Optimize data pipelines for analytics and reporting
• Work cross-functionally to understand data requirements
• Maintain documentation and provide training as needed
Requirements:
• 4+ years of relevant experience in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Proficiency in SQL and Python programming
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required
• Familiarity with data security and governance best practices
