EarthDaily IT Security & Compliance Manager

Join Earth Daily as a hybrid IT Security & Compliance Manager in Vancouver. Oversee governance, risk, and compliance programs while driving strategic initiatives for cybersecurity and compliance.

This position includes direct reporting to the Director, IT, and the VP, Finance & Internal Controls. You'll lead policy management, risk assessments, and compliance with frameworks like SOC 2. A key aspect of your role is ensuring Earth Daily meets all public-company readiness expectations while coordinating with finance, engineering, and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own enterprise risk assessments and present findings

• Manage policy lifecycle across IT and security policies

• Oversee IT general controls for SOX compliance

• Collect evidence artifacts for compliance audits

• Coordinate vendor security assessments and data protection practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

• 5+ years in IT security, risk management, or compliance roles

• 3+ years in GRC programs and audit preparation

• Relevant certifications like CISA or CISSP preferred

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks including SOX/ICFR
