At Amazon Devices, we are seeking an exceptional scientist with a robust background in machine learning and model evaluation. You will collaborate with engineers and fellow scientists to create better evaluation frameworks for audio and visual tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on multimodal model evaluations for devices

• Invent novel automated evaluation methods for perception tasks

• Develop and enhance evaluation frameworks for language models

• Analyze datasets to interpret model performance gaps

• Work closely with cross-functional teams on evaluation methods

Requirements:

• 3+ years machine learning model development experience

• PhD or Master's with 6+ years applied research

• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python programming

• Familiarity with deep learning methods and machine learning

• Experience in software and systems development
