As a vital member of the GIS team, you'll leverage your expertise in ESRI Portal and other cutting-edge technologies to deliver comprehensive GIS analyses and solutions. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, your role involves designing and optimizing geospatial datasets, creating interactive web maps, and mentoring junior staff. This position emphasizes problem-solving and innovative solutions for impactful projects across Western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver advanced GIS mapping and analysis projects
• Architect and optimize complex geospatial datasets
• Design interactive web maps and dashboards
• Collaborate to automate workflows and innovate spatial analytics
• Mentor junior staff and enhance GIS methodologies
Requirements:
• Advanced Diploma in GIS or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of professional GIS experience
• Proficiency with ESRI Portal and related technologies
• Strong skills in geodatabase design and spatial analysis
• Knowledge in coding/scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
