IT Specialist

Position: IT Specialist at Veritree
Elevate IT operations with Veritree, an innovative climate tech start-up in Vancouver. This IT Specialist role focuses on infrastructure, end-user support, and MDM management in a collaborative hybrid work setting.

As an IT Specialist, you will manage operations for both Veritree and sister organization tentree. This independent position requires expertise in IT infrastructure, device management, and security operations. You will also enhance AI integration into daily tasks and streamline processes for improved efficiency across both organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality end-user support for hardware and software

• Manage IT infrastructure: DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi, and SaaS platforms

• Oversee IT asset, license, and vendor management processes

• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles

• Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 user management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years in IT operations with security exposure

• Strong Google Workspace knowledge and MDM experience

• Familiarity with Linux, macOS, and Windows environments

• Proven use of AI tools to enhance IT tasks
