Information Governance Analyst

In this vital role, you will report to the Data Governance Lead, implementing Seaspan’s governance framework across various business units. Your main focus will be on improving data integrity, accessibility, and compliance while supporting business users in managing both structured and unstructured content. Effective communication and collaboration are essential as you advocate for data governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operationalize governance policies and lifecycle controls
• Design information architectures and content taxonomies
• Build content inventories and perform risk assessments
• Translate retention schedules into system-specific requirements
• Support Data Stewards with governance responsibilities
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance
• Degree in Information Management or related field
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional certifications like CDMP preferred
