Senior Assurance Solutions Architect

AWS Security Assurance Services is seeking a Senior Assurance Solutions Architect to join their team across multiple Canadian locations — Vancouver, BC, Toronto, ON, and Ottawa, ON. This is a senior, customer-facing role at the intersection of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.

The AWS Security Assurance Services team works with the largest enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud.

The team is a PCI-QSAC (Payment Card Industry-Qualified Security Assessor Company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm, helping customers achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud.

• Lead teams of Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs
• Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers migrate sensitive workloads to the cloud faster
• Resolve security assurance questions through deep-dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‑on demonstrations of compliance automation in the AWS environment
• Convey partner and customer feedback to AWS engineering, support, and business teams to influence AWS technology roadmaps
• Travel to customer sites as needed

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics)
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or internet industries

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems (SAP Business Suite, S/4
  
  HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in Generative/Agentic AI and data and analytics

Base salary range: $146,000 – $211,600 CAD annually. Package may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life and AD&D), RRSP, DPSP, paid time off, and wellness resources.
