Technical Lead for AI Infrastructure

Elevate your career in AI data centers with Wafr Technologies Ltd. as a Technical Lead in Platform Architecture. You will be instrumental in transforming prototypes into scalable production systems while guiding a team of engineers.
This full-time position is based in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area and requires a hands-on approach in backend architecture and deployment. The Technical Lead will steer critical decisions on cloud platforms and infrastructure while implementing CI/CD and Dev Ops automation. You will also design robust backend systems and develop APIs while focusing on security and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy AI data center infrastructure

• Lead a small team in backend implementation

• Design and run CI/CD and Dev Ops automation

• Maintain APIs, orchestration services, and backend systems

• Shape technical strategy and set standards
Requirements:

• 6+ years in backend or infrastructure engineering

• Experience as a Solution Architect

• Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Familiarity with high-volume data pipelines

• Knowledge of security and infrastructure hardening
