We are seeking a talented Research and Program Evaluation Analyst to join our Truth and Reconciliation (T&R) and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team!

Three years into our EDI journey our EDI function is growing its performance measurement and client service support capacity. The Truth and Reconciliation and EDI Research and Program Evaluation Analyst will play a key role in supporting transformation of our organization through research, analysis and evaluation of our initiatives, and support evidence-based decisions to improve the organizations EDI maturity. This role is instrumental in leveraging demographic data and accountability for change and realizing our strategic goal to embed a culture of Truth and Reconciliation and EDI in everything that we do.

The Opportunity

As a T&R and EDI Research and Program Evaluation Analyst, your primary function is to be responsible for conducting research, analysis, reporting, and evaluation activities that support the organization’s strategic goals and priorities related to Truth and Reconciliation (T&R) and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). The position supports the development of performance measures, evaluation frameworks, and data collection approaches to assess effectiveness and impact of programs, initiatives, policies and practices through a T&R and EDI lens, identify barriers and inequitable outcomes, and inform continuous improvement and decision-making.

The T&R and EDI Research & Program Evaluation Analyst develops reports, analyses, recommendations and other decision-support materials, and works collaboratively with T&R and EDI team members and organizational partners to support T&R and EDI initiatives, projects and advance equitable and inclusive legal service delivery.

Key accountabilities include, but aren't limited to:

• Support the assessment and evaluation of T&R and EDI-related programs, initiatives, policies, practices and data collection approaches through research, consultation, outcome monitoring and other evaluation activities to identify opportunities for improvement of equitable and inclusive legal service delivery and support evidence-informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with departments to gather, analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, outcomes, emerging issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain research, briefing and analytical materials related to T&R and EDI initiatives and organizational priorities including but not limited to equitable and inclusive legal service delivery.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify gaps in internal policies, guidelines, standards and business processes, and assess potential inequitable outcomes.
• Develop, support and enhance data collection approaches including questionnaires, surveys, feedback loops, consultations and other primary and secondary data sources to support outcome and impact measurement of T&R and EDI initiatives.
