Firewall Operations Analyst - Contract Role

Join Teck in Vancouver as a Firewall Operations Analyst. This contract offers a unique opportunity to focus on network security within a hybrid work model.

In this key role, you will report to the Team Lead and support firewall operations, addressing Level 1 through 3 tickets efficiently. You will engage closely with the Security and Network Services teams and are expected to onboard quickly, making a significant impact within the contract duration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety and environmental policies

• Triage and resolve firewall rule requests and issues

• Implement firewall rules and ensure compliance

• Diagnose network security challenges

• Document ticket statuses and troubleshooting actions

Requirements:

• 2–5 years experience in firewall administration

• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks systems

• Familiarity with Service Now for ITSM processes

• Quick onboarding capability and independent work skills

• Excellent communication for documentation
