Experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer Wanted

Bloom Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer in Vancouver to help innovate IT infrastructures and enhance operational efficiency. This dynamic role involves extensive project work.

You will drive project delivery for a top national MSP, focusing on technology solutions that align with client needs.

Your role demands exceptional technical expertise and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. Participate actively in system maintenance as well as backup and disaster recovery testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cloud and network projects for diverse environments

• Create and maintain documentation for operational support

• Ensure robust maintenance and validation of backup systems

• Address root causes during service disruptions

• Travel as necessary for on-site interventions

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of Windows Server administration

• 2 years of Linux or BSD environment experience

• Strong virtualization background with Proxmox or Hyper-V

• Deep understanding of IP networking principles

• BC Class 5 driver's license for onsite client visits
