The Web Development Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for leading end-to-end web development projects and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable websites and web applications. This role oversees development workflows, coordinates with designers, content specialists, and stakeholders, and manages project timelines, priorities, and resources. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising front-end and back-end implementation, reviewing code for quality and performance, and guiding the team in best practices across multiple CMS and web platforms.
The Web Development Manager will also collaborate on technical architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and documentation. Regular communication with clients and internal teams to define requirements, provide status updates, and align on goals is a key part of this position.
- Proficiency in Web Development across platforms such as Drupal, Word Press, Webflow, and Shopify.
- Experience designing and maintaining Web Applications, with an understanding of performance, security, and scalability.
- Background in Software Development, including version control workflows and collaborative coding practices.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple projects on schedule.
- Experience leading or mentoring development teams in a remote or distributed environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and analytics tools is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
