Embark on a fulfilling co-op journey as a Business Analyst at Teck, specializing in Data Governance. This 8-month role offers real-world experience and skill development.
We seek students enrolled in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields. As a co-op student, you will directly contribute to data governance initiatives, working alongside technical and business partners. This position requires you to be proactive and curious about improving data quality and accessibility within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote safety leadership and compliance in all tasks
• Aid in the configuration of data quality technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders on data management needs
• Conduct comprehensive business analysis and documentation
• Support data quality initiatives and remediation
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a university program in a relevant field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, and SQL
• Exceptional communication skills
• Willingness to learn about data governance and management
