Marketplace sales are operationally complex: pricing, contracting, billing, revenue recognition, and compliance all intersect across multiple cloud providers. Suger removes this complexity with an API-first revenue platform that powers quote-to-cash and marketplace workflows at scale.
Today, we’re working 300 amazing customers, ranging from enterprises like Snowflake, Workday, Intel to the top AI-native companies like the main AI labs, OpenAI, Decagon, Glean, etc.
This is a hybrid position, requiring 4 days in the office.
We are a Series A startup, funded by top-tier investors, including Threshold VC, Craft Ventures, Intel Capital, and Y Combinator.
What You'll Do- Own the QA strategy across manual, automated, regression, and integration testing.
- Contribute to hands-on testing and the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks, infrastructure, and tools.
- Develop and execute test plans for new features, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
- Embed QA into development cycles, ensuring clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
- Build and maintain test frameworks that scale with our product and engineering growth.
- Triage and validate issues in collaboration with Engineering and Support.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement in test coverage, defect trends, and release stability.
- 3+ years of QA experience in SaaS, ideally with API-driven or integration-heavy products.
- Strong hands-on skills with manual and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines
, Git, and modern engineering workflows. - Experience testing APIs, microservices, data flows
, and end-to-end product use cases. - Ability to write clear test cases, document defects well, and communicate findings concisely.
- Practical judgment - balancing speed with quality in a startup environment.
- Experience setting up or maturing QA processes is a plus.
- Previous exposure to marketplace, billing, or fintech systems is a bonus but not required.
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 CAD/year.
