DescriptionThe Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Account Executive, Group Benefits to join their Vancouver office. This is an in office role within a well established and collaborative team environment. The position is a senior level blended sales and servicing role, requiring someone who can independently manage complex client relationships, retain and grow an existing book of business, and contribute to new business development.
The successful candidate will manage and retain an established book in the initial stages, then continue building their own book through new business development moving forward. This is not a developmental role. The organization requires a seasoned professional who can step in confidently and operate independently from day one.

About You
You are a senior group benefits professional with strong brokerage experience and the ability to manage complex accounts independently. You are confident presenting to executive level clients, developing renewal strategies, and negotiating with multiple carriers. You balance a sales mindset with disciplined servicing and bring professionalism, maturity, and attention to detail to your work. You thrive in an in office team environment and are respectful of established client relationships and team dynamics.
Necessary Qualifications Include
- Minimum 6 years of group benefits insurance experience, including senior level client management
- Strong brokerage background with exposure to multiple carriers and product lines
- Experience developing proposals, renewal strategies, and client presentations
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts independently
- LLQP license or willingness to obtain within required timeframe
- GBA designation considered a strong asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Professional maturity and executive presence
- Ability to integrate into a collaborative, long tenured team environment
