Position Summary As Vice President, you are responsible for developing strategic sales plans to support the division’s growth by maximizing cross‑sell and upsell opportunities; renewal retention while optimizing customer experience.
You ensure, through collaboration, teamwork and the selection and development of technically competent employees, strong client focus and satisfaction.
Responsibilities Strategize and collaborate with all levels of sales and service functions to ensure the best client experience possible
Work with the sales team to meet or exceed monthly production targets
Ensure all HUB Service guidelines are met and followed to deliver excellence in client care and experience.
Foster a positive, engaging work environment to attract and retain talent
Schedule regular meetings with team members to discuss production, sales strategy, CORE usage, and account receivable management
Work collaboratively with the other Commercial Lines leaders to ensure that procedures and workflows are followed
Participate in Critical Path meetings by working with Account Executive/Account Manager to provide value‑added services for clients and to follow‑up on action items
Run reports and assist with book of business/account transfers and coding changes
Promptly assign new business leads to Account Executives/Account Managers
Evaluate books of business and reassign accounts as needed
Manage carrier relationships, attend industry functions, and keep up to date on product/appetite changes
Ensure team’s compliance with respect to licensing, account receivables, workflows and non‑renewal processes
Work with other departments as needed: operations, claims, marketing, in‑house
Provide feedback to VP, Commercial Operations with respect to staff’s performance both informally and formally
Continue professional development and learning to enhance technical skills, soft skills and insurance knowledge
Provide oversight over the entire New Business and Renewal Process; and documentation with responsibility to protect HUB from E&O

Minimum 5 years commercial insurance brokerage experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and developing talent
Proven track record of fostering and maintaining strong client relationships at the management level
Industry designation preferred (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, CRM)
Level 2 general insurance license
The expected salary range for this position is $135,000 to $175,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
