What youbring:
At least2years’ experience in a sales and service environment, including 6months of general insuranceexperience, including travel and automobile insurance
Level 1 Insurance license,witha commitment tosecureyour
Level 2 Insurance license within your first 12 months of employment. BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.
Completion of Autoplan Essentialsora commitmenttocompletewithinyour first3months. BCAA will provide time and cover the cost.
Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC.
Comfortable using technology, includingworkingknowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel,PowerPoint,Outlook)
Bonus qualifications!Experience selling home insurance, knowledge of ICBC systems,and ability to speakother languages aside from English.
During a typical day, you will:
Work with team memberstorecommend
BCAAinsuranceproducts and services to current and newcustomersto meet their needs.
You’llhelp them secure and/or renew their policiesby reviewing current coverage and making recommendationsin person and over the phone.
Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend the right coverage for our customers.
Achieve sales and productivity goalswhile upholding
BCAA and AAA/CAA Member experience goalsandunderwriting guidelines.
Managecustomeraccounts and documentation, from processing payments to issuingnew, renewal,endorsementsand cancellations for Insurance policies, BCAA Memberships, andadditionalproducts and services.
Increaseyour industry knowledge andexpertisetowards becominga Senior Insurance Advisorwithin 12 months.
You’llparticipatein BCAA’s training courses,maintainannual licensingrequirementsandkeepup to date withthe latestprocesses,productsand service offerings in the insurance industryin a supportive environment.
The salary range for this position is $46,768.44 to $58,460.52 and isdeterminedvia job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, marketdemandand internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
