Claims Manager – Casualty & Litigation

• Provide technical guidance, coaching and management of claims staff
• Support the Claims unit and serve as the first line of conversation for the adjudication team
• Ensure efficient and prompt service in the investigation, analysis, and settlement of claims
• Track Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure claims are adjudicated in a timely and accurate manner
• Build and maintain team engagement
• Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic initiatives and new adjudicating methods

• Post-Secondary Education, ideally in an Insurance focused program or related program
• Completed or working towards the CIP designation
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the property and casualty industry
• Minimum of 3-5 years of claims leadership/mentorship experience
• Strong adjusting background with in-depth knowledge of CGL and Auto BI
• Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite
• Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel

Demonstrates extensive experience in claims leadership and mentorship within the property and casualty industry, with a strong focus on efficient claims adjudication and team engagement. Proficient in analyzing claims and tracking performance metrics while effectively communicating with stakeholders.
