Engage and inspire visitors as an Interpreter at Vancouver Aquarium. Deliver dynamic interpretive programs that promote aquatic conservation while providing exceptional customer service.

Vancouver Aquarium, part of Herschend Family Entertainment, is seeking an Interpreter to create memorable experiences in its galleries. This role emphasizes aquatic ecosystems and involves hands-on activities like marine mammal shows and animal encounters. You will also support the Interpretive Delivery Team in developing programs and assist with training students and interns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver various interpretive programs on aquatic conservation

• Interact with visitors and respond to inquiries

• Assist with special events and promotions

• Provide training and supervision to practicum students

• Support program development and maintenance

Requirements:

• Experience in Biology or a related field

• Knowledge of marine conservation and mammals

• Prior work in interpretive programs

• Strong public speaking and customer service skills

• Capacity to adapt and thrive in changing environments
