Responsibilities- Assists Legal Assistants in eight practice areas with overflow administrative work, such as printing, scanning, mail processing, filing, expense reimbursement, travel arrangement, file opening, billing, etc.
- Manages time, resources, workflow and deadlines of legal professionals, including maintaining a filing system for all documents and organizing materials required for work-in-progress; opening new files as needed.
- Performs client account administration, including ensuring dockets are submitted, reviewing and editing e-prebills, preparing invoices for review by legal professionals, verifying fees and disbursements, preparing write-offs, and addressing client inquiries regarding billing.
- Receives, researches, prepares and follows up on audit inquiries.
- Handles confidential materials and documents.
- A certificate from a recognized Legal Assistant program is preferred.
- Previous Legal Assistant or Administrative experience of minimum one year is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

The typical hiring salary range for this position is $56,000 - $62,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
Working ConditionsDue to the nature and responsibility of this position, full-time in-office presence (5 days a week) is required in order to meaningfully support the Legal Assistant team and the Legal Professionals.
