Peterson seeks a contract Director of Legal to join its legal team. With over five years of extensive experience in full-cycle real estate transactions, you will advise on various legal matters.
Your role will include management of corporate structures, partnerships, and business operations while supporting the General Counsel on legal matters requiring substantial supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on legal matters including development and leasing
• Handle corporate partnership agreements and financing
• Manage transactions from due diligence to closing
• Collaborate closely with acquisition teams on negotiations
• Protect company interests through professional legal counsel
Requirements:
• JD degree with over five years of legal experience
• Proven expertise in real estate transactions
• Ability to develop optimal corporate structures
• Experience with tax advisors in property partnerships
• Strong negotiation skills in legal contexts
