Supply Chain Specialist

What You’ll Do- Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and services to meet production schedules and customer orders.
- Analyze demand forecasts and translate them into accurate purchase orders and production plans.
- Request quotes for pricing, lead time, and terms from suppliers to secure the best value without compromising quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding both shortages and excess stock, using ERP/MRP systems.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality personnel to align material availability with business needs and project timelines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supply chain efficiency.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with overall business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and forecast demand accurately.
- Lead supplier relationship management to ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to organization policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, etc.).
- Excellent supplier management skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail and great communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis tools, including Excel and data visualization software.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
