About This Team

The Supply Chain Strategy Manager helps drive supply chain strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of lululemon's Global Supply Chain operations. This role requires a strong focus on strategy, planning, governance, and strategic project execution.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead strategic projects or work streams independently; drive structured problem solving and project delivery
  • Structures ambiguous problems, performs analytics, builds financial and scenario models to inform decisions
  • Balances competing priorities across multiple projects; executes with discipline; manages timelines and deliverables
  • Influences partners and leadership to reach alignment; collaborates across supply chain, planning, merchandising, etc.
  • Synthesizes analyses into clear, concise communications; prepares materials for leadership
  • Understands integrated supply chain processes; connects operational data to strategy
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of near‑and mid‑term Supply Chain strategies to align with the company's overall business and growth objectives
  • Assess and identify Supply Chain capabilities to drive cost efficiency, operational excellence, and competitive differentiation
  • Integrate Supply Chain strategies with broader enterprise‑level initiatives, ensuring alignment with cross‑functional goals
  • Lead cost‑benefit analyses to evaluate and prioritize investments in capabilities, technologies, and processes
  • Drive operating model transformation initiatives, including diagnosing current organizational structures and processes and developing and implementing future‑state recommendations in collaboration with People and Culture (P&C)
  • Combine data‑driven insights with qualitative research, such as stakeholder feedback and market trends, to inform strategic decisions
  • Leverage advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and data analysis tools to assess Supply Chain opportunities and risks
  • Partner with leadership and strategic planning partners across the enterprise to ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain initiatives into broader business objectives
  • Facilitate cross‑department workshops to ensure a unified approach to strategy and planning
  • Drive the annual operating plan process for supply chain
  • Lead business case development for strategic Supply Chain investments
  • Define and prioritize the roadmap for future Supply Chain capabilities
  • Oversee the transition of strategies into actionable initiatives, collaborating with operational leaders for discovery and implementation
  • Stay informed of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the apparel retail and supply chain industries
Qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • 6‑8 years of experience in consulting, supply chain, strategic operations or project management, preferably within apparel, retail, or consumer goods industries
  • Experience supporting or leading work streams and projects; builds models; conducts analyses; contributes to cross‑functional strategy initiatives
  • Experience in apparel, retail, or consumer goods preferred
  • Strong analytics and modeling skills (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
  • Translates business problems into actionable strategies; develops multiyear roadmaps and business cases
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; synthesizes complex information into clear, concise materials for leadership
