The Junior Buyer role is critical within the Purchasing/Finance Division at VSB, where you will oversee procurement processes to ensure the best values for educational tools and resources. By preparing specifications and performing market analyses, you will directly impact our ability to serve the diverse needs of students. This administrative position also involves tracking orders and representing the department in vendor negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct procurement for standardized educational supplies

• Prepare and analyze bid documents and specifications

• Track purchasing orders and expedite as necessary

• Record and maintain purchasing statistics accurately

• Offer technical support to the division when needed

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and Supply Management Training completion

• 2+ years in procurement or related field

• Familiarity with modern purchasing principles

• Capable of evaluating supplier quality and prices

• Strong communication and independent decision-making skills
