Major Projects Superintendent - Supply Chain

Drive procurement success as Superintendent of Supply Chain at BW Gold for Major Projects. This Vancouver or Prince George-based role is pivotal for executing the Blackwater Mine expansion.

In this senior role, you will manage the supply chain lifecycle for ongoing capital projects focusing on procurement, contract negotiations, and supplier management. You will ensure timely delivery of goods and services, aligning project goals with budget constraints while promoting safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct the procurement and contracting lifecycle for major projects

• Create and manage project procurement plans

• Lead supplier negotiations to achieve best value

• Prepare and issue RFIs, RFQs, and ITTs

• Support other departments in bid evaluations and recommendations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

• 8-10 years in procurement and supply chain

• 5 years in major capital projects in relevant sectors

• Strong experience in contract negotiation

• Excellent stakeholder management skills
