Expert Category Manager in Transformation

Drive transformative change as a Category Manager for our Client's S/4

HANA project. This onsite contract position in Vancouver, BC emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, and contract governance.

As an expert in category management, you will harness your skills to formulate innovative strategies that ensure supply security and support operational excellence. Your engagement will involve leading sourcing events, negotiating contracts, and exceeding financial performance benchmarks. Collaborate with local teams and stakeholders to refine processes and facilitate successful ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design category plans that promote value creation and supply security

• Conduct end-to-end contract negotiations with suppliers

• Track and report on contract performance metrics

• Validate and improve local business operations

• Participate in user testing and support training efforts

Requirements:

• Proven experience in global sourcing and category strategies

• Solid knowledge of supply management principles

• Background in SAP or Ariba implementations

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to analyze complex data and solve problems
