In-House Stock Room Purchaser

Join West Coast Reduction Ltd. as an In-House Stock Room Purchaser in Vancouver. This full-time, in-office role focuses on inventory accuracy and management for sustainable practices.

At West Coast Reduction, you will play a key role in inventory management within our Vancouver plant. The Stock Room Purchaser is responsible for processing purchase requisitions, maintaining the accuracy of inventory systems, and nurturing relationships with vendors and end users. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to respond promptly to inventory needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase requisitions for inventory replenishment

• Review and verify inventory data for accuracy

• Report critical shortages to the Purchasing Agent

• Manage vendor and end-user interactions for quality service

• Maintain an orderly storeroom and issue items as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract

• 2-3 years in purchasing or inventory management

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
