Our corporate supply chain client is seeking a Category Lead (5+ years) to develop sourcing strategies and document RFPs/RFIs using advanced Excel and PowerPoint -
The mission of the Category Lead (CL) is to ensure their assigned categories are meeting performance objectives in support of goals and priorities. To do this the CL operates like an overall 'owner/ manager' of the category and is an expert both in understanding the external category environment (suppliers and market) and internal drivers and requirements for the category. The Category Lead leads cross functional teams to develop, implement and sustain categories and works closely with our internal and external stakeholder groups.
12 months contract to start, 37.5 hours/week.

Edmonds, Vernon, possibly remote - Manager is looking for a candidate in Edmonds on hybrid basis, however, he is open to candidates in Vernon or remote (up to 1 hour time zone difference such as Alberta) - as long as they meet the requirements on the role and work PST hours.
