Senior Vice President, End-to-End Supply Chain & Operations
Location: Toronto, ON (preferred) or other major Canadian hub
We’ve been retained on an exclusive, confidential basis to identify a world-class operational leader for one of Canada’s fastest-growing, most innovative players in regulated consumer goods. This is not a “keep the lights on” job. This is the engine room of the business, the seat where strategy meets execution, and where every operational decision ripples across the country.
The Big Picture
Our client is a market leader with national reach, a diversified product portfolio, and a multi-site manufacturing and distribution footprint. They own the full chain - from seed to shelf - and now they need someone who can see the whole chessboard, then move the pieces with precision.
You’ll have direct accountability for the end-to-end supply chain, operations, and manufacturing ecosystem, with commercial responsibility for ensuring those operations fuel both top-line growth and bottom-line results.
If you like stable, predictable environments…this isn’t it. This is regulated, complex, fast-shifting, and high-stakes. And it’s where you’ll thrive if you’re the kind of leader who builds, fixes, and transforms at scale.
What You’ll Own
- Set the Vision & Roadmap: Define the operational strategy that drives growth, efficiency, and market leadership.
- Deliver on the Ground: Own safety, quality, cost, service, and compliance across all facilities, no excuses, no silos.
- Oversee End-to-End Supply Chain: From cultivation and extraction to manufacturing, packaging, distribution, and retail hand-off.
- Lead Multi-Site Operations: Champion automation and improvement across multiple provinces.
- Ensure Compliance & Quality: Build systems that make auditors smile and customers return.
- Drive Capital Projects: Expand, modernize, and automate with ROI front and center.
- Build a High-Performance Team: Recruit, mentor, and inspire top-tier talent across operations, supply chain, and engineering.
- Be Commercially Accountable: Own budgets, forecasts, and P&L levers, identifying efficiencies that don’t compromise quality or speed.
What We’re Looking For
- 20+ years of progressive leadership in supply chain, manufacturing, and operations, CPG, or food & beverage preferred.
- Experience running multi-site, multi-region operations in complex regulatory environments.
- Track record of transformation; turnarounds, scale-ups, and performance breakthroughs.
- Strong Lean/Six Sigma, GMP, S&OP, ERP, and continuous improvement credentials.
- Comfort toggling between the floor of a cultivation site and the boardroom of an investor meeting.
- Degree in Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA an asset).
- Willingness to travel across Canada.
The Right Leader
You’re a strategist who can execute. A commercial thinker who can operationalize. You have the urgency of a start-up founder and the discipline of a Fortune 500 COO. You speak both P&L and production yield. You see problems before they hit the radar and bring solutions that actually work.
