In this impactful role, the Assistant Operations Manager supports senior leadership in BC’s seafood industry. Candidates with direct experience aboard commercial fishing vessels will excel in this position, as it involves both warehouse and dock coordination.

Your role will also include resolving real-time issues and fostering teamwork within internal teams and with fishermen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily logistics, freight coordination, and plant operations

• Coordinate vessels, logistics, and workflow efficiency

• Manage freight activities from dock and warehouse

• Address real-time operational challenges

• Foster relationships with fishermen and field teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years in logistics or operations

• Hands-on experience on commercial fishing vessels

• Strong skills in communication and accountability

• Forklift experience preferred;
Excel proficiency required

• Authorization to work legally in Canada
