As a Permitting Manager, you will drive the permitting process for construction and operational phases at Artemis Gold Inc. Candidates with at least seven years of experience, especially in BC mining, will excel.
Your role will encompass engaging with Indigenous Nations, managing environmental commitments, and overseeing consultant resources to meet compliance standards and boost operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead permitting initiatives for construction, operations, and exploration
• Identify amendments for existing permits to enhance operations
• Collaborate with Indigenous Nations on relevant permitting matters
• Manage environmental projects and ensure compliance
• Prepare and oversee permitting budgets and resources
Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years in permitting, preferably in BC mining
• Professional designation (e.g., PEng, PGeo, RPBio)
• Related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Knowledge of BC environmental legislation and regulations
