Construction Procurement Specialist Ontario Line

Procurement expertise meets major infrastructure delivery at ACCIONA, supporting vendor recruitment for the Ontario Line project through commercial evaluation and tendering.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will support every vendor recruitment phase for the Ontario Line Elevated Guideway and Stations project. Construction experience, technical proficiency, commercial acumen, and procurement policy knowledge are central to this position. You will coordinate with project departments and stakeholders, presenting Best for Project options that align procurement activities with organizational needs. The work combines office-based and on-site environments, with occasional travel for supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and meetings.

• Pre-qualify bidders and prepare procurement strategies and tender packages
• Issue tenders through the selected electronic quotation system
• Evaluate quotations and recommend best-value vendor awards
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts
• Manage purchase orders, vendor performance, and procurement records

• Construction environment experience
• Technical proficiency and commercial acumen
• Strong procurement policies and procedures knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or supply chain
• Ability to travel occasionally for procurement activities
