** Role

Description:

** Reporting to the Resort Manager, the Maintenance Technician will oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the entire property and fulfill the company's responsibilities to its guests at Oceanside RV Resort.
** Responsibilities:
*** Responsible for maintaining the landscaping and overall appearance of the property.
* Provide general grounds maintenance including weeding gravel sites, maintaining gardens between sites, garbage control, recycling, clearing roads and walkways, lawn cutting, and grass edging.
* Supporting manager with repair and maintenance of community buildings, equipment, and resort systems (clubhouse, sport court, etc.).
* Ensuring ongoing communication with the Resort Manager and Maintenance Lead.
* Always operate within the applicable Occupational Health & Safety legislation and company policies. Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, including safe use of all equipment, and actively monitoring for safety concerns around the property.
* Prioritize the guest experience through excellent customer service. Responding quickly and efficiently to guest issues and helping as required.
* Janitorial duties for facilities, including coverage as required for the maintenance team and housekeeper.
* Follow and perform the preventive maintenance schedule for the resort buildings, amenities, and equipment.
* Ensuring ongoing communication with your manager
* Interact with guests of the Resort with patience and courtesy.
* Be prepared to accept after-hour calls and act on emergencies as required.
* Other duties as required

* Experience and Qualifications:

*** Must have valid driver’s license;
Clean Driver’s Abstract required
* Landscaping experience and asset.
* Horticulturist certificate and asset.
* Able to work weekends, days, nights and call-in during emergencies

The expected hourly range for this role is $20.60 – $22.28.Based on the position, Quad Real offers a competitive total rewards package in addition to the base pay, which may include a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, pension plan, and paid time off.

The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
