Laundry Attendant; Part-time

Part-time Laundry Attendant with availability to work varied shifts throughout the week as assigned up to sixteen (16) hours per week. Must have availability for weekends, holidays and on-call shifts.

• Sort, classify, and process soiled towels, linens, uniforms, and other miscellaneous clothing and janitorial items.
• Load items into washers or machines while applying proper cleaning agents.
• Deliver and stock clean towels while lifting and carrying heavy loads up and down several flights of stairs.
• Operate and maintain the quality and cleanliness of workspace and equipment.
• Perform other relevant departmental duties as assigned by Management.

• Minimum of two (2) years previous laundry work experience preferably on commercial laundry.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to handle heavy workload, including lifting and transporting soiled towel bins, distributing clean laundry throughout the Club, and loading/unloading commercial washers and dryers.
• Must be able to fold towels, linens and other items
• Able to stand, walk, and stretch for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform the full range of tasks and responsibilities as required by the position.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in delivering excellent service to Members, Guests, and Staff
