Become a crucial part of Lookout Housing and Health Society as a full-time Maintenance Technician II in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on overseeing facility maintenance and supporting maintenance personnel.
In this permanent full-time position, you will work alongside the Property Manager and site management, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will conduct inspections, provide training, and manage commercial tenancies while maintaining high facility standards. Your expertise in maintenance will contribute to achieving overall facility management goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee facility maintenance efforts with the Property Manager
• Conduct on-site inspections and ensure cleanliness
• Coach maintenance workers on best practices
• Manage commercial tenancies and address vendor issues
• Submit expenditures for financial oversight
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and two years related experience
• Current Basic First Aid Training Certificate
• Valid Criminal Record Check required
• Experience with diverse individuals and environments
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and regulations
