About Us
Many people will spend their lives in a Marcon home, so we have to build it right, every time. Founded in 1985, Marcon is an established real estate company specializing in acquiring, developing, building and managing properties across Metro Vancouver. A focus on quality and craft is what the business was built on, giving us a trusted name in the construction community.
These principles have remained a focus as we’ve expanded into the real estate development and operations space, managing our own projects from conception through to execution, completion, and ongoing management.
We are committed to providing elevated experiences at every touch point between our people, our buildings, and our communities. None of this is possible without a hardworking team working together to make it all happen.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance across interior and exterior building areas
Complete minor repairs, including plumbing, drywall, painting, lighting, carpentry, hardware, and general building upkeep
Review and prioritize maintenance work orders, ensuring timely completion and clear communication
Coordinate access for vendors and contractors and support deficiency walkthroughs as required
Maintain landscaping, seasonal maintenance (including snow removal and salting), and exterior cleanliness
Respond to urgent or after-hours issues as part of an on-call rotation
Maintain accurate inspection logs and report urgent concerns to the Property Manager
You will work independently across multiple sites while collaborating closely with Property Management and Facilities teams to maintain high building standards.
What You Bring
3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or a similar role
Practical experience with minor plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repairs
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a varied workload
Ability to lift up to 20kg and handle ladders safely
Valid BC driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle required
Experience with Yardi Maintenance IQ or similar systems is an asset
Red Seal certification considered an asset
You are reliable, safety-focused, and take pride in maintaining high-quality environments.
What We Offer
Marcon is committed to building an inclusive, inspired, and high-performance team culture where our Core Values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Passion, and Excellence guide how we show up every day. For this hourly role, we offer a competitive wage of $29‑34 per hour based on experience and qualifications, along with extended health and dental benefits, RRSP matching, paid vacation and statutory holidays, and employee recognition programs.
As a growing, vertically integrated real estate company, we provide a stable work environment, long-term career opportunities, and a collaborative team culture where your contribution matters.
