Groundskeeper I, Playland Grounds Maintenance

Part-Time;
Seasonal (June – September)

23.78/hour (PG74) Plus 10% in lieu of Benefits and Vacation.

• Remove debris in active ride areas, adhering to established lock-out procedures.
• Cleans ride units, tables, waste receptacles, building structures and related equipment.
• Completes before and after season clean-up of both the Playland site and related Grounds Maintenance equipment.
• Operate handheld equipment and tools as required, including electric leaf blowers, wet/dry vacuums, and other related maintenance equipment.
• Adheres to PNE policies and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Previous leadership experience is an asset.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• WHMIS Certification preferred.
• Ability to interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
• Sufficient physical strength, stamina and coordination to permit the performance of assigned tasks.
• Successful candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check.
