Conversions; Graveyard

POSITION SUMMARY

This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position for a certified, experienced forklift operator, with most shifts being graveyard shifts (i.e., 11:00pm to 7:00am). A typical shift includes:

• Loading/Unloading concert equipment
• Transporting equipment throughout Rogers Arena
• Setting up and dismantling performance/game areas and applicable seating and signage for events
• Adhering to safety practices and procedures in executing responsibilities
• Other duties as required

• Forklift experience and a Forklift License from a recognized training institute, program, or organization
• Must be able to lift (repetitively lifting of up to 50 lbs.), bend, stretch, reach, and twist throughout the shift
• Must be able to work in a noisy and crowded environment
• Ability to work graveyard shifts (i.e., 11:00pm
  -7:00am)
• Basic construction experience and/or knowledge
• Ability to work under tight timelines and the resulting deadline pressure
• Ability to learn the use of required tools and equipment, including a radio
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions, manuals, and diagrams
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and act logically to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions
• Excellent spatial orientation and visual capabilities with strong hand-eye coordination
• Strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
• Non-Canadian residents must hold valid work permits that expire no earlier than October 2027
• This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
