Become a Support Attendant at The Salvation Army Vancouver Harbour Light, where your role will ensure a secure environment for clients. Engage directly with individuals in need while performing essential front desk and security tasks.
In this position, you will uphold the mission of The Salvation Army while maintaining safety in a multi-program facility. You'll assist clients from various programs and will be responsible for client monitoring, emergency procedures, and documentation.
Your role is vital in supporting residents and ensuring a professional, safe atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor clients’ compliance and report incidents
• Provide assistance as Front Desk and Security Attendant
• Administer First Aid and Naloxone when needed
• Document daily activities and client interactions
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies
Requirements:
• High School completion plus relevant training
• One year of related security experience
• Successful Criminal Record Review clearance
• Training in First Aid and CPR required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
