This position reports to the Manager of Building Services and requires expertise in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance. The Maintenance Worker III will engage in equipment repair, heavy cleaning, and grounds-keeping tasks. You will also assist in HVAC system maintenance and manage furniture transportation across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs on equipment like wheelchairs and beds

• Conduct electrical maintenance including light and socket replacements

• Execute plumbing repairs such as changing taps and unclogging drains

• Carry out carpentry work, including repairing furniture and locks

• Maintain grounds by cleaning patios and removing snow

Requirements:

• Grade 10 and two years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of building trades and services

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to organize tasks efficiently

• Physical capability to perform duties
