Janitorial and Maintenance Helper

Become a Janitorial and Maintenance Helper at Grace Mansion in Vancouver, BC. This role involves ensuring a clean, safe environment while performing general maintenance and janitorial tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

In this position, your primary focus will be supporting daily operations within a residential setting. You will complete minor repairs, maintain equipment, and keep public and private areas clean.

Your role will also include reporting safety issues and assisting with maintenance in vacant units, ensuring both residents and staff have a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform minor repairs in common areas and units

• Maintain electrical and mechanical equipment as needed

• Clean hallways, offices, and washrooms regularly

• Remove and return garbage and recycling bins

• Participate in building security checks for safety

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 months of relevant work experience

• First Aid/CPR certification required

• Certification in WHMIS 2015 a must

• Criminal Record Review clearance needed

• Universal Precautions and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications

Contribute to the upkeep and safety of Grace Mansion while gaining valuable experience in maintenance and janitorial services.
