Position: Weekend Custodian for Community Care
Join UGM as a Weekend Custodian dedicated to community service. This role ensures clean spaces for clients, enhancing their experience in crisis moments.

As a Custodian at UGM, you will work on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 10 pm. Your responsibilities include thorough cleaning of all public areas, bathrooms, and offices. You'll interact with clients in varied situations, providing a safe and welcoming environment while working alongside supportive staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disinfect and maintain cleanliness of public bathrooms

• Vacuum and clean carpets in common areas

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors when necessary

• Manage waste disposal and recycling practices

• Report security and maintenance concerns promptly

Requirements:

• 2 years in custodial roles preferred

• Must be physically fit for lifting and cleaning tasks

• Basic English communication skills required

• Awareness of WHMIS is beneficial

• Adherence to safety policies and UGM guidelines
