Position: Full-Time Building Services Role
Join Atira Women’s Resource Society as a Full-Time Building Services Worker in downtown Vancouver. Contribute to social change while ensuring cleanliness in a supportive environment.

This full-time position requires dedication to maintaining cleanliness across various facilities in the downtown Eastside. You'll be tasked with cleaning floors, bathrooms, and shared spaces, ensuring that all areas meet hygiene standards.

Your role will involve reporting any maintenance issues and participating in a workplace committed to anti-oppression and social equity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean floors, carpets, and common areas thoroughly

• Maintain hygiene in bathrooms and kitchens

• Dispose of refuse and clean windows

• Report building issues to the Program Manager

• Assist with cleaning vacant rooms as needed

Requirements:

• One month of relevant experience or equivalent training

• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certificates (training possible)

• Physical ability for heavy cleaning tasks

• Excellent judgement and decision-making skills

• Commitment to anti-oppression and equity principles
