Position: Building Services Worker with Atira Society
Make a difference as a Building Services Worker at Atira Women’s Resource Society in Vancouver. Support communities while ensuring a clean and safe environment.

In this full-time role, you'll focus on cleaning duties that are vital for maintaining community spaces. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of cleaning tasks, including floors, kitchens, and bathrooms, and may involve working with individuals facing various challenges. You will be part of a mission-driven team that values inclusion and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and clean floors, carpets, and stairwells

• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens and bathrooms

• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures

• Report issues or damages in facilities

• Clean vacant rooms and outdoor grounds as necessary

Requirements:

• One month of related experience or equivalent

• Valid First Aid and WHMIS certifications, training provided

• Physical capability for heavy cleaning

• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

• Alignment with anti-violence and equity principles
