Join the Pacific National Exhibition as the Assistant Manager of Grounds Maintenance, where you’ll ensure facilities are safe and event-ready. This full-time role requires a commitment to excellence and collaboration.
The ideal candidate will coordinate and oversee facilities maintenance operations at the PNE. You will implement preventative programs while leading dedicated maintenance staff, ensuring that our infrastructure remains operational for the diverse events hosted throughout the year. By fostering effective relationships and adhering to safety standards, you’ll play an integral role in enhancing the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate grounds maintenance operations
• Supervise maintenance staff and daily tasks
• Conduct inspections and address maintenance needs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in operations
• Collaborate with contractors for maintenance work
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role
• Experience in leadership and direction
• Knowledgeable in safety practices and building systems
• Strong organizational skills and critical thinking
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus
