BGIS seeks a skilled Power Engineer/Building Technician to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of facility systems. Leverage your experience in HVAC and safety compliance to drive excellence.
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for performing structured inspections and maintenance on facility systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Troubleshooting, responding to service requests, and enhancing client relations through preventative maintenance are key aspects of the position. Your expertise will help protect asset integrity and support uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on systems
• Monitor mechanical and electrical equipment conditions
• Facilitate compliance with health and safety policies
• Respond to routine and urgent service requests
• Participate in facility projects and enhance tenant relations
Requirements:
• High school diploma with relevant trades training
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation Systems
• Strong client-service orientation
• ABSA Power Engineer – 4th Class required
