Building Maintenance Technician at Chard

Chard is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the comfort and safety of our managed properties. This hands-on role involves maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

In this position, you will be crucial in maintaining the day-to-day operations of our buildings. With over 2 years of experience in building maintenance, you will utilize your technical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and ensure quality. Your responsibilities include responding to service requests and logging work in our CMMS for compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Troubleshoot and repair routine and complex maintenance issues

• Communicate clearly with supervisors on work orders

• Monitor building systems and recommend necessary improvements

• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies

Requirements:

• 2+ years of building maintenance experience

• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safety practices

• Experience with CMMS platforms is an asset

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Strong work ethic with a service-first attitude
