Metro Repair & Maintenance Leader

Become a key player at Metro Vancouver Regional District as a Repair & Maintenance Technician Manager. Lead a team while ensuring equipment is operational and safe for members.

In this full-time role, you will take charge of repairing fitness equipment and managing a dedicated team of technicians. With a hands-on approach, you'll implement the “Tell, Show, Do” coaching method to ensure high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will directly impact the reliability of equipment across multiple clubs, enhancing member experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair a range of cardio and strength machines

• Manage preventative maintenance schedules across all locations

• Lead and mentor Repair & Maintenance Technicians on-site

• Oversee repair tickets and part inventory using CMMS

• Respond to urgent equipment issues efficiently

Requirements:

• 3+ years of fitness equipment repair experience

• Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills

• Prior leadership or mentoring experience

• Valid BC Class 5 driver’s license

• Comfort with maintenance software and tools
