Maintenance Technician

Position: Stratford Hall Maintenance Technician
Become a Maintenance Technician at Stratford Hall and ensure the safety and functionality of school facilities. This role demands commitment to regular maintenance and event support across all campuses.

As a part of the Operations Department, the Maintenance Technician reports to the Facilities Manager and collaborates with various community members. You will be responsible for light repairs, emergency response, and maintaining cleanliness throughout school facilities. We're looking for diverse candidates who are passionate about facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform timely building repairs and maintenance tasks

• Support setups and take-downs for school events

• Conduct maintenance on plumbing and HVAC systems

• Ensure cleanliness and assist cleaning personnel

• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety protocols

Requirements:

• Proven communication and computer skills

• Certifications in safety protocols like WHIMIS

• Level 1 First Aid certification necessary

• Experience in facilities roles involving physical work

• Capable of lifting up to 60lbs
