Join Coast Mental Health as a casual Maintenance Worker, supporting the upkeep of vital properties in Surrey, Coquitlam, and Maple Ridge. Engage in diverse maintenance and cleaning duties on an as-needed basis.

This part-time role emphasizes hands-on maintenance work, enabling you to utilize your skills in repairs and cleaning to maintain Coast's facilities. You will engage in tasks from minor repairs to landscaping, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all residents. Exceptional organization and communication skills are essential for coordinating with vendors and managing supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute minor electrical and plumbing repairs

• Disinfect and clean various building areas thoroughly

• Keep track of maintenance supplies and manage orders

• Respond to urgent maintenance calls during on-call weeks

• Maintain professional judgement while working independently

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent and two years of experience

• Proficiency in using small power tools

• Valid B.C Class 5 Driver's license required

• WHMIS and First Aid certifications

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends across regions
